To all the people who are about to excitedly post about the proper use of the word ‘Freon,’ and explain refrigerants, I would like to preemptively say: stfu nerd.
Cyclopentane: not even once.
You’ll have to eat the insulation foam if you want to go around getting high on cyclopentane. Or maybe smoke it.
Are you able to tag the appliances after you’ve huffed all the freon out? I’ve got an old fridge in the basement I need to get rid of but can’t until I get someone out to extract the freon and put the evacuation certification tag on it.

I don’t know about your area, but my city came and evacuated the refrigerant. Part of the waste collection department. Had to call the city, super easy barely an inconvenience.
