• Hezbollah fired at Kiryat Shmona.

  • Israel strikes top Hezbollah commanders in Beirut

  • Iran launches missiles on Israel to reassure Hezbollah

  • Israeli officials say they will respond

A return to full-scale war in the Middle East may be hours away.

This Isn’t related, but I just watched a short documentary on Hasidic Jews from New York. And they don’t believe that Israel should exist. There’s something in their holy text Saying you can’t establish a state for the Jews before the Messiah comes.

The Zionist regime has killed over 3,000 people in Lebanon since the “ceasefire” in late 2024 including over 150 parademics in sick double tap strikes.

There will never be peace let alone justice until this genocidal colony of dismantled.

Israel has shown the world that the only thing it understands is a gun in their face. The only way to deal with them is to shoot at them till they beg for it to stop, and be ready to start shooting again the minute they break any cease fire. The entire world should be shooting at them if we had any decency.

If this holds, the next step will be shooting them until they withdraw from the lands they have stolen.

Israel has been bombing and bulldozing Lebanon incessantly for weeks. I would love to see Iran obliterate every single Zionist settlement in the west bank, for a start.

The BBC doesn’t capture the sequence of events on purpose.

Israel has been threatening to bomb a densely populated area in a Beirut suburb (this is while there’s supposed to be a ceasefire in Lebanon) > Iran warns Israel saying that they will retaliate if they do > Israel bombs that area > Iran makes good on their retaliation

Bullshit. The ceasefire ended the day the usa attacked by surprise a third time Iran under pretext of preemptive attack

the leaders military actions have overwhelming almost universal support by the public. People on lemmy and reddit twist themselves in knots trying to defend the tiny minority of moral Israelis but they are almost all just as guilty as the leaders are. They certainly have all --without exception-- enjoyed the benefits of Israeli genocide just by living there. No israeli has clean hands on that one.

I can’t wait until the point where it’s a full week of continuous peace and wellbeing we are sending one another. It will take a lot of healing and forgiveness to get there but I believe humanity is strong and brave enough to manage one day.

        Imagine there’s no countries

        It isn’t hard to do

Nothing to kill or die for

        And no religion, too

        Imagine all the people

        Livin’ life in peace

You may say I’m a dreamer

But I’m not the only one

I hope someday you’ll join us

And the world will be as one

Yeah fear, anger, greed, and resentment are much lower emotional local entropy states for us. Getting over that hill into a true global minimum is a doozy. It’s so scary we often prefer the familiar needless and avoidable suffering.

      Were there negotiations?

A lying sack of orange shit said so, and went out of it’s diaper to repeatedly insist it wasn’t yahoo-serious’ plan, and a bunch of mass murderous pedo-philes ham handed “free” press to “equal weight” above points

So yeah it must be 50% true right!?

So why are the negotiations not going anywhere???

      Maybe if we believe harder?

The cease fire was broken on day one when USA blockaded the ports, Iran demanded ships pay tolls for passing through the strait, and Israel and Hezbollah never got the memo to stop shooting at each other.

‘Negotiating’ in those conditions is performative at best.

It’s Shrodinger’s war. Both a war and not a war at the same time. Neither side wants the war to continue, but neither side wants to back down.
