2·4 days agoThere were a few around here where the edge of the trunk in the back were at the same height as my neck. If any of this shit hits me I die instantly. Pretty great being an adult. I have no idea what kind of nightmare fuel it gives the kids.
Yes it never worked right. Specially in all shitty laptops with a discrete nvidia card and how they all had different ways to be integrated. At least for personal laptops I only buy ones with simple integrated graphics, but was always a shitty situation with work laptops. It was particularly fun knowing that the hdmi port was only connected to the nvidia card so if I disabled the nvidia card on the bios basic shit like that wouldn’t work. Let’s not even mention how it was constantly crashing for sleep or when waking up.
No stress and no depression at 7? That’s great. I would have to go back to 4.

1·19 days agoI’m in europe. If you put a name that may seem a bit non standard they will fire that verification immediately. I think i tried hetzner before and same thing. On ovh was no problem for the little time I tried. Anyway they all always want full physical address and name and a bunch of personal details.

1·19 days agoNetcup was the one I had most problems years ago about uploading identify check. Last year when I signed again they actually put a system in place that it’s simpler, you just show your face for some photos and show your identity card and it checks if it matches. So an external identity provider. Simpler than having to see how to upload copies by email with pgp (which they support and have documentation about).
Also works good in macos. Been using it instead of the lima/colima stack for a few weeks now.
