Trump says 'I'll remember' companies that don’t seek tariff refunds

Trump said he was "not happy with the Supreme Court" for ruling IEEPA tariffs were illegal, and for not allowing the U.S. to keep tariffs already collected.

Donald Trump on Tuesday told CNBC that he will gratefully “remember” U.S. companies that do not seek refunds for the tariffs he unilaterally imposed, which the Supreme Court later ruled were illegal.

Trump’s comment on “Squawk Box” came a day after U.S. Customs and Border Protection opened a portal for importers to seek more than $160 billion in potential refunds for the so-called IEEPA tariffs.

He was asked about a number of large companies, among them Apple and Amazon, that have not filed requests for refunds for the tariffs they paid, potentially because they are worried about “offending” Trump.

      Too bad he didn’t have a stroke while the neighborhood was blocked with cars due to filming.

      Mean I hate wishing ill will on anyone but there’s a few exceptions that I think is morally fine as long as I don’t take any action and just wish really hard. Like many people that pray.

      Few people have erroded our social norms like that douche. While I thought they were stuffy before it’s like he dropped his pants and took a shit at the table before his first bite then calls you crazy for being offended.
