    No? Even before the current AI boom, giant corporations were limiting hiring, overworking andstressing retail workers, spreading them too thin, and forcing them to juggle babysitters, etc. Keeping them from being able to contact anyone isn’t “prioritizing retail” and it’s not “promoting customer service”.

      And workers at work are expected to do their jobs, not sit on cell phones all day. Try sitting in line to buy your groceries for 40 minutes while watching the checker fuck around on facebook all day instead of doing their work.

      Its a real problem. Id fire people for that conduct.
