I have a pair of glasses that:
- have built in dual 1080p displays
- two low resolution (800x600 IIRC) IR cameras that are just barely enough for hand and finger tracking (no connected device has access to the camera feed, glasses have no viable onboard storage, recording is literally not possible)

There’s an Artosyn AR9311 SoC inside them, running a barebones Linux firmware. This SoC also has an NPU, running a somewhat basic hand and finger pose recognition model. The two camera feeds are fed into the model, and ANY DEVICE connected to the glasses only gets the processed hand metadata.

Not sure where you’re located but I’m pretty sure providing the prescription automatically is standard almost everywhere after an eye exam.
I’ve worn glasses for decades and have gotten annual exams in all parts of the world. Always got a printout of my prescription and never had to ask.
I’m US American, and everyone I know including me has had to specifically ask for a copy of the prescription, and they usually try to leave information like the PD off. It’s scummy as fuck.
