Is striking illegal?
Pretty sure it’s not.
It’s interesting to me to see how people on Twitter and Reddit are so vocally opposed to any form of strikes. The recent strikes at Lufthansa are a great example of how consumers blame the personnel and completely side with management, even while executives are shamelessly paying themselves bonuses and increasing their salaries while the airline is grounded. It boggles the mind.
Probably because it’s mostly bots on those sites.
But I too have witnessed people siding with shady corporations
Like air carriers making the seats so small and close together. And then everyone saying fat people should have to pay for 2 seats.
When an average Americans can not really fit in the seats anymore.
Train seats don’t have that problem.

Yeah exactly. Some airlines like American, Frontier and Spirit have seats as narrow as 16.5" (42cm).
And [it’s gotten worse after it got better for a while] (https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/feeling-cramped-battle-airline-seat), although the average American has only gotten bigger.

Striking like protesting is highly illegal unless it is within a very narrow band of exceptions pre-approved by the. Commonly requires permission or agreements to do it.
The whole just people walk out the door and going on strike is generally speaking not allowed or protected. Doesn’t mean you can’t do it. But yeah…
Idk. It seems like in the U.S most strikes are legal with a few exceptions like a contract that’s says you can’t strike or striking to request an illegal action. Or strike to oppose a business partnership.
