    Alright context for the non french here:

    “Système D” is an shortening of “Système débrouille”, which roughly means “DIY system”.

    It’s used to say that you had to come up with a solution to your problem yourself.

      … which is ironic, since SystemD is what happens when someone comes up with a problem to fix your solution.

        It seems like no project ever includes the unit file. So I have to search to write one myself. Either find whatever properties I need to set to call the start script, or someone has a whole unit file I copy. But it’s not packaged with the software distribution.

      Add a couple exec lines for some electron applications and you can replicate that setup, too!
