Hmm… That does sound like very peaceful browsing…

But you could argue that you are just like those people on a Fox News diet? It seems to me, to be pretty bad to only receive news from a single camp?

I know I know, that stuff barely passes as news nowadays, but aren’t we just creating deeper rifts and diferent realities even more?

    Just a thought

If I was reading news only from one source, I wouldn’t be here now.

      Just a second thought.

Yeah you are right, Bad analogy perhaps, but the idea of blocking communication from a political camp/ideology whether you agree or disagree seems to be the main issue in the US no? Isn’t it true both camps (Dems and Rep) have their constituents completely on different news diets? Thus they yell at each other because they live in totally different realities? And so no real conversation can be had? Just seems the blocking of information is the root of the problem…

Alas I’m not from the us, so not sure why I care lol.

But yeah, I’m tempted to block a few thing tbh.

Unfortunately American “Freedom” is for both parties to hold unhinged believes about the other. “You’re entitled to your wrong opinion” mindset over here. One group understands the fetus is clump of cells, the other believe it’s a miracle; when both views can be right but one party is trying to disenfranchise and contort the law to force women into giving birth against their will. Enough big issues pile up that you, your friends and your family can’t even discuss world geo/politics without an underhanded comment that people deserve what they sow. One party thinks the other is a bunch of freeloaders and the other party claim landlords are freeloaders.
