For me "+o for ö or /+u for µ is easier to remember than numeric codes, that’s why I like the compose key. I can look up a char and after typing it 2-3 times I usually remember it.

Auf wiedersehen is more like “see you soon” - not used in a literal sense anyway but you could say auf Nimmerwiedersehen to say “see you never”

My UPS just runs on a lead battery. It lasts long enough to run my router and server for a few minutes and cost less than 100€.
I got it when we had electrical issues and using the ironing board would trip the main fuse.




I only use Debian, for everything. Gaming PC, work laptop, personal server, work servers - it truly is the universal operating system
