No one is making it illegal to be a non smoker, and banning some people from purchasing it doesn’t stop people from smoking around you. So congrats you gained nothing and lost nothing but a freedom.

Same thing with obesity, but try banning fat people from buying snacks and see how thats recieved.

Tobacco legislation is just as much an over reach as that would be, and if you accept their proposal, they will come back and take more from you in the name of health. It’s a steady walk into fascism while you’re distracted with the handful of countries that are speed running it.

If I had a nickle for evey behavior that harms a third party but is explicitly legal because it makes a rich dude richer I’d own my own tobacco company. And beyond that the black markets that would rise if they ban it wont care what reason they said they used.
