HI! HTC Vive OG owner here since 2018/19, over 100 VR titles, I know quite a few others with different headsets from Index to Meta to pico, also know at least 3 looking forward to Steam Frame. Tho it is still too niche and these stupid memory prices are going to hurt us bad. Under windows steamVR is great, under linux steamVR is good and getting better all the time, in the meantime there is WLX-Overlay.

Oh boy, lol. I have over 100 VR titles in my library only about 20 nonvr, most of the games I play are either survival or shooters, Into the Radius 1 and 2, The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners Ch1 and 2, cyubeVR (kinda like minecraft made by one guy but the blocks are .5M and the world is 800 blocks top to bottom), Frost Survival, BONEWORKS, Arizona Sunshine 1 and 2, After the Fall (same devs as Arizona Sunshine), Metro Awakening was an amazing game, 5 nights at Freddy’s is a blast, The Forest, and Valheim. These are the main ones I really enjoyed tho I think I have forgotten 1 or more.

Not sure which game individually, but I have about 9600 hrs in SteamVR

Maybe if they show some fortitude we may reconsid…hahhaahha

the 50yr rot was for printed disks like music/videos/programs, the 10 or 15 was for burned media that uses a different tech. Still have another 25ish years before I can debunk that, I have a little over 100 music cds from different bands that I acquired over the years, but the oldest I have so far is from 1999 or 2k.

That was my point, hehe. I also never spent on the “quality name brands” of disks, $10 for 100 cds, deal! $15 for 100 dvds insert fry meme. Maybe we just “took care” of our media better than others did? Personally, they are in spindles on a bookshelf, I just made sure no direct sunlight would hit them where they are, some days get warm before I can turn on the ac.

I have 20+ yr old optical media cdr/dvdr and they are still good, the cheap ones like Pine and the ones with no name at all
