It’s a great game, but sometimes I wish there were some world randomization options so that each restart isn’t exploring the exact same world again. At least there are different starting zone options, but that only really matters up to coal power and steel production.

30·6 days agoFun fact: NOAA, although not a military service, is considered one of the 8 “uniformed services” of the US, which includes the 5 military services, the Coast Guard, NOAA, and the US Public Health Service.

10·8 days agoI acknowledge the Steam Deck is an important step forward for PC gaming, but I just didn’t get enough use out of it to justify the purchase. I ended up giving mine to my friend whose only gaming option prior to that was a shitty old laptop. At least now we can play stuff together that’s been made in the last decade.

91·10 days agoI was with you until the end. Most Gen A are mostly technically illiterate thanks to smartphones and tablets that “just work.” They’ve never really needed to tinker with their devices and it shows in their technical capabilities. I would bet the average Gen A couldn’t tell you the difference between downloading a file vs installing a program.
You never had him. You never had your car.
I have no idea, but it sounds like an interesting premise.

I wasn’t aware. That’s actually really great to hear. Do you know if it will affect the geography of the map, or are we just talking like randomized ore nodes?
