this was not that uncommon back in 80a and 90s navy ships. one time we fired up grills and had a huge seafood cookout while we waited for power to be restored. it turned out OK.

but… with 2-300 other grumpy sweaty dudes, in the middle of the ocean, floating on a steel can, under a hot sun… things get …musky… quick.
