In germany we also got an official name for this: Morbus Kobold

The background behind this is a dissertation from the 1970s, where someone investigated injuries caused by masturbating with vacuum cleaners. A lot of the injuries were kaused by the Brand “Kobold” (or goblin in English), which shaped the term “Morbus Kobold”.

Sadly I could not find any English resources about this and the wikipedia article is only available in German.

And now imagine yourself creating an UI in tkinter without an editor. Because that’s what I did. It was absolutely horrible.

You can even do inefficient UIs in Python using tkinter, which is part of the standard library in python.

You dont even have to look at the code to see this. Just make one wrong click in a UI and youre directly getting dragged into a UI that hasn’t changed since Windows XP.
