Gave me an idea. I will now be waiting for Rust++

2·1 month agoThat makes more of us. Educated - of course, but also allowed.
All that and you still think that “doesn’t work” is the only problem that can happen?
Someone hasn’t done enough debugging in their life. I wish the lesson be as painless as possible
He better not have his spine poked by anything sharp :)
(in cade I failed at it: reference to Midra)
Nah. A bunch of llm code review agents say that produced code is of high quality, fire anyone who said it would have taken for them to implement same functionality more time than I have spent
Not the best description doesn’t cut it, it’s just false description. I can easily write a system with 100% test coverage, bugged as hell and containing so many weird abstraction tricks that it takes a significant effort to figure out even what is happening in the simplest scenario. And yes, part of that hundred percent coverage is going to be llm style: test that something does what you already know it does

0·2 months agoThen I’ve misread you, as “you have a decent shot to do it if you try hard enough”. World won’t change much because of me, but I will make sure to be a drop of change for the better

0·2 months agoShure, changing the world will be hard as fuck and it could be years until you see any positive change
No. For people without needed capability (read: 99.(9) of all people on the planet) changing the world means “you will most likely die trying, and it might amount to something, but may as well not”. And building said capability is again close to a full lifetime of work, if not more
Unrelated to the topic: I never understood this, because only a fool thinks in non-absolutes
(it is possible to find examples of how Sith were smart and brave enough to see ugly reality for what it is, but I am not that deep into Star Wars lore)
Age verification should be “continue the song lyrics”

Damn good. Now I know how to name a language if I ever try to make one
