1·10 hours agoWhen OP does expand on things, it’s unhinged. OP made a post that was removed by the mods where the title asks why people care about age gap relationships and then the body of the post went off ranting that they don’t care if kids die of cancer

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why do people have an issue with people in their mid-20s dating much older people?
9·1 day agoOkay, this post has two unrelated and very unhinged ideas that you seem to think are connected somehow.
The first idea is people caring about age gaps. I don’t know who you think is uptight about people in their 20s dating older people. It doesn’t seem to be a big problem to me. You seem hung up on it.
The second idea is you don’t care if my kid dies of cancer. I don’t have a kid but I have nephews I love. I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve you ranting at me about how you don’t care if my nephews die of cancer. I don’t know where your unhinged rambling about how little you care about me and my family comes from. Since you brought it up out of the blue, it sounds like you do care. Or at least you care that people expect you to care.
I don’t know where any of this is coming from and I don’t know why you put these ideas together as if they’re connected. You have some kind of bee in your bonnet about age gaps or people caring about age gaps and you don’t care if we all get cancer and die. I just don’t see the connection between these two unhinged ideas.

10·1 day agoYou should probably give some more details on what you mean. Do you mean how long would they avoid getting caught? Depends entirely on how they use it. Light Yagami made himself too obvious by constantly offing every criminal talked about on his local news. The smarter move would have been to use it sparingly. Off a dictator every few months or so in a way that doesn’t look like they’re connected.

14·2 days agoIn the CBS show Ghosts, the kid who played Young Sheldon guest stars as himself and the ghosts recognize him. That implies the ghosts watched him on CBS. Young Sheldon used to air back to back with Ghosts. So what did the ghosts watch in Ghosts time slot right after Young Sheldon?

My aunt tried to “prove” the Mandela effect to me by asking how I remember the spelling of KitKat. I misremembered it with a hyphen. What she fails to understand is it proves nothing to me because I never claimed to have perfect memory
My aunt is a great believer in the Mandela effect and she insists LEGO used to be spelled leggo. My mom thinks she has it confused with the TV commercials saying “le’ggo my eggo”
A plausible theory I saw on the cornucopia is that some knockoff brand used it and the knockoff brand had poorer quality clothes and so none of it is around anymore
The human brain has a tendency to see what it expects to see. That’s why most people don’t notice I’ve been deliberately misspelling Untied States for over a year. The brain just assumes it says what they expect it to say
I must admit, some of the fake ones look right to me. I don’t get how people misremember the spelling of Froot Loops though. How do you not remember the extra Os made of froot loops?
The king should have announced he’s revoking America’s independence cause America clearly couldn’t handle the responsibility

1·3 days agoPut his mugshot on it. Put his mugshot everywhere. In the history books. On every news report about him. On things that are completely unrelated.
So it’s racial profiling to suspect a black person of a crime even if there’s hard evidence? In the book, Harry had a lot of evidence Snape was trying to steal the stone. He knew Snape had been near Fluffy on Halloween and reasonably concluded he had tried to get past Fluffy. Hermione saw Snape seemingly putting a hex on Harry’s broomstick. But because he’s black you think now it’ll seem like that’s the ONLY reason they suspect him of wrongdoing? If I see a black man walk into a store with a gun, I’m racist if I conclude he might be up to no good? I would draw the same conclusion if it were a white man.
I once saw someone post on Facebook on valentine’s day “happy conception day to all the mid-november babies. You may not have been planned but at least the sex was”
