The main problem with Xbox controllers is they are expensive and come with no battery. Including a rechargable battery pack, they cost more than a lot of better alternatives.

At this point it makes more sense to just buy a third party controller, which will be higher quality, as well as cheaper, and include features like hall effect sticks and more or less easily replaceable battery.

The downsides: due to replaceable AA battery, hull effect sticks are impossible due to them requiring a consistent output.

A while ago I posted about playing Pokémon Platinum and Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. I didn’t want to get into older games, because I felt they may be too ancient for me.

Well, now I’m playing Pokémon Yellow and the original NES Castlevania. Turns out I was completely wrong and these old ass games are a lot of fun.

I’m about to get the 5th badge in Pokémon, but my Pokédex is only at 41/151. As for Castlevania, I’m mostly hunting for achievements (retroachievements). Haven’t really felt like sitting down for 2-3 hours to beat the entire game yet, but will definitely do at some point.

EDIT: Also updated from an R36s to a Mangmi Air X. I’m absolutely in love with this retro handheld. Umbelievable value for the price.

So called election spending is just propaganda spending, because all elections need are polling places. In my country they are mostly run by volunteers, making them essentially free. What was that 13 million dollars spent on?
