In reality things are becoming more scarce because of AI and I‘m afraid we‘ve only scratched the surface. And all that when we barely have any actual use cases for it.

For most people it is easier to imagine the end of the world than it is to imagine the end of capitalism.

Probably a way to encourage them to quit. No doubt they did it before. They probably just made the announcement to put unnecessary stress on employees.

They’re utilizing nostalgia. Mixing edgy themes like war imagery and the Epstein files with Lego is also fascinating. In a way a lot of us are fascinated by having their childhood be ruined. I am not sure why but it‘s definitely a thing people seek out.

It‘s funny. The people who betted against the housing bubble knew 2006 would be the year where none of this was sustainable anymore. The bubble burst in 2008 and they had to take several loans to finance their bet. Despite it being obvious to us now and a few insiders back then, that bet was highly risky because you never know who might help the market go down a self destructive path for how long. Even when everyone already knows it‘s a bubble they might spend a $trillion more just to keep up the illusion. The government will bail them out anyway, right? So why not take the entire economy down with them?

Yup. More and more manufacturers are actively showing loyal end consumers the middle finger by producing even less to drive up prices even more. Meanwhile other manufacturers are going bankrupt because who is buying cooling systems or new cases when no one can afford a new build? This is an active push against ownership and for tech feudalism.

I do but it doesn‘t matter much because the US Empire holds all the cards here.

By then a lot of other PC components manufacturers went bankrupt because they aren‘t selling anything when no one is buying new computers. We are likely experiencing the collapse of the home computer market as we know it.

Them telling lies and newspapers spreading them is how we ended up here. This is not about that Netanyahu didn‘t say it but that he‘s likely deliberately lying through his teeth precisely so it gets reported on.

I believe it when I see it. Israel still enjoys way too much support from Europe for Iran to just shake hands and ask for nothing in return.

Sadly that doesn‘t generate clicks so we have to keep telling people fascism is coming and resistance is futile. We need that sweet advertising money after all. Democracy be damned.

Seeing Voss taking the mic during the hearing sure was a jump scare. Luckily he had nothing to say and babbled something off topic about copyright instead.

I‘m a little bit confused because all of this is moving so quickly (and badly) when the EU is known to work slow. How do they even have an app ready so quickly? Even when it‘s trash. It‘s almost as if they act on the ‚wisdom‘: „Apologizing later is easier than asking for permission first.“ I get the impression they started working on this before any legislation was even proposed.

The real news is that the government is doing a really shitty job but it‘s not election season so this poll doesn‘t mean much. Things usually change a lot months before a major elections when all parties are campaigning and voters realize their vote is imminent and will have real consequences.

Also unemployment is getting worse while companies fail to get contracts. But oh no, it‘s all the lazy worker‘s fault!
This is the worst government I have ever experienced. Things could be so much better if the current coalition wasn‘t genuinely malicious if not straight out hostile towards the working class.

Most people have no critical thinking skills whatsoever. You can see it in the polls everywhere.
Some mobile games already work that way where they claim to be f2p but it‘s just a demo of the actual game with ingame purchases for the other levels. However annoying, it‘s not flat out scamming customers like shutting down servers months after release is. Perhaps devs should still be required to label it as a demo just in case though.
