Which part was misinformation? That inorganic things aren’t food?
Sodium Chloride is not “organic” but there is not a single kind of life on the planet earth that can survive without it.
So according to your (il)logic, NOTHING can be organic, your definition, not mine.
Monsanto
their buissness model with certainty.
Exactly right. Well said.
If you can’t tell the difference between random mutation and targeted gene replacement, you DO NOT belong in this conversation.
Either educate yourself or STFU and let the adults talk
asparagus
Aldi’s in Chicago has wonderfully thin and crisp asparagus almost all the time. Don’t ask me how, I just buy and eat it.
nutritional value
Is not a consideration either way (and that’s part of the problem) time and “viability” from pick to market are even more important than that and even flavor. Hence, hothouse tomatoes, the most tasteless tomato on the planet.
It’s already happened to bananas. That’s why banana candy tastes NOTHING like the bananas you can buy today, it tastes like the bananas that died out from a fungus.
The parasites just add spice!

I have friends that use them and disagree.

Of course they did, god forbid anyone should have any fun. Fucking puritans.

Merit-based scholarships are rare nowadays too, so good luck going to a top university just because you excel at your subjects…
At least that is not true.
'The rest of it is, highschools are an enforcer of conformity and woe be to anyone that bends the curve.

I see the point, but I don’t think intellectual elitism is the same as anti-anti-intellectualism. I think intellectual elitism creates a sense of alienation from science that in fact leads to anti-intellectualism.
That is just the inferiorily informed trying to justify their lack of knowledge by calling the people more knowledgeable than they are in that field “elitism”.
In the modern day, They could EASILY educate themselves with the actual current and up to date scientific research, the internet exists.
The fact that they would rather “educate” themselves with populist YouTube bullshit videos that simply validate their incorrect beliefs instead of looking up the actual research papers that are 100% **ALSO available on the internet ** is entirely their fault and no one else’s, you can’t blame the fact that they won’t read the research on “elitism”

People so fragile they can’t live with the idea other people might be smarter than they are
Need to be ridiculed, and their opinions ignored.

The absolute fucking truth!!!

Lenovo is not a manufacturer of ANYTHING below motherboards (pc or laptop) .
Their opinions need to be looked at through that lens and no other.

Your only problem is that Valve is not the only market.
By a long shot

My god!
A well thought out and reasoned opinion? I can’t believe it took me this long to leave reddit!
Honestly, if visual elements are ai created I am not sure I even care. AI is (now) really good at that and if it saves the devs weeks or months of drawing graphics that they can spend on the story or the action of a game, I (so far) think I am ok with that.

Epic games can shove it’s corporate opinion up it’s own corporate ass.

Is it so bad to have both?
I mean plenty of caffeine AND a good flavor without .25 lbs of sugar and 50% half and half is pretty nice…
