Most modern cars have a number recalls. My Kia telluride just had one about some bit of trim that might fall off and make a highway hazard. It’s not like they have to replace the whole car, it’s just a fix. I doubt there are many models that have zero recalls.

Yes, Elon is a dick. But this is hardly novel. Car recalls related to wheel assembly issues are pretty common e.g. Mercedes and Toyota and plenty of others. In this case Tesla identified this strain based issue in preproduction testing but failed to apply the eco to production due to a management error and then discovered it in audits and then issued the recall. No accidents or even any definitive customer issues occurred from this. So now the customers just have to go in to the dealer for a fix, which is a pain but they still end up going in for service way less than with any ice. Hate Tesla all you want, but don’t fabricate garbage engineering outrage.

Just being pendantic about your phrase of ‘produce condensation’. The mist has already condensed; it is condensation, so it cannot produce condensation.

The majority of religions are based on imposing some sort of rule based morality. And often these rules seem to go against the notion of letting certain different people coexist - at least that’s how it plays out in practice. So I think the default suspicion of any religious group is reasonable and founded in reality. You may have an all inclusive religion and that’s great, but you then must see how that conflicts with most other religions. I don’t care what gods you believe in, but I care if you try to impose an arbitrary morality on others.

When was that posted? In the immediate aftermath of the Oct attacks and a short time afterward, this would have been a reasonable, if incorrect, statement. It was only months later that Isreal kept relaxing it ‘rules of engagement’ and then went on to direct bombing of civilians.

Ah, the acceptance of non- acceptance argument. Most religious groups are against a lot of those groups you mentioned, especially LGBT - some actively so. You don’t get an exemption from morality for being religious.

I’m sure some Israelis want to expand into Lebanon. And they were gifted a great excuse with Hezbollah attacking them in Oct. Certainly it doesn’t justify Israel’s actions, not even close. But it did trigger it.
