I have a very similar experience, I still use Spotify and YT to discover new music, but I then torrent it (or find it on soulseek) to keep my jellyfin collection growing. I also buy off bandcamp since that’s pretty convenient to fill in my favorite albums.

Gotcha, I meant it more as a rhetorical question meant to point out that no tablet has 16GB of vram, so it kinda misses my point to talk about ones with 16GB combined ram.

I mean that is true, but still nowhere near the same thing as 16GB ram and 16GB dedicated vram. This thing has a 9070xt and a 600W PSU, so the other commenters claim that they have a higher specced tablet is just kind of absurd, especially since I don’t believe there’s a tablet in existence with discrete graphics. And even if it did, beating a recent gen card like a 9070 would be a really tall order.

My college roommate told me to wipe my os and install arch not thinking I would do it but I did, and that was 14 years ago. It’s a fun experience but these days I just wanna throw a fedora ublue distro on stuff and use that.

Behold, my old basement homelab when I rented just outside Boston with a very permissive landlord who agreed to let me have Comcast gig pro fiber pulled into the basement, running off an outlet I installed without asking on a free slot in our breaker box. The dust was terrible, the rack was a hodge podge, I had to put up that sign because maintenance guys kept plugging their power tools into the UPS when I wasn’t around and tripping it. But Comcast fucked up the billing and the 2gig + 1gig symmetric internet is still active to this day for free, which I left behind minimally working for the next tenants after parting out the rack. The tower by the side was a friend who wanted to colocate on my fiber, and I had some fun stuff like a slide out vga console. I also pulled Ethernet into every room, most of them installed with nice wall plates all bundled down to the rack, so with a house full of gamers, you could have multiple people pulling a gig on a game download without anyone stepping on anyone else’s toes.

Is there any way to connect the bsky android app to the atproto.africa relay or a third party appview that uses the atproto.africa relay? I wouldn’t mind using bsky more if there was a clone of the android app that doesn’t use the bsky relay/appview. Looking at whtwnd it appears to be just web and not native apps?

I would like to host my own PDS and access bsky through a native app using third party relay+appview, but I haven’t seen a way to do this yet.
