As I recall the story, the tempter was only ever identified as the Serpent. They were even cursed to always go on their belly afterwards, which I don’t recall Satan doing.
Depending on your mythology, Satan might have instigated that; but I don’t think it was ever established in the story
As I understand it, most adult content producers aren’t actually interested in having minors using their sites. It seems like the easiest thing to do would be to have them add some “Adult Material” flag in their metadata, and let consumers respond as they wish to that tag - whether that’s done through browser settings, router nannyware, or whatever.
Is there a technical reason this isn’t what’s being pushed for? I’m sure there’s lobbying and “optics” reasons for not doing this, but is there any practical reason for not pursuing this, or something like it?
The idea is that your services run on remote systems without regard for what those systems are (as a VM, docker image, etc.) Your architecture is decoupled from theirs - you can run on an Amazon host one week, and a server in your closet the next.
And as a bonus, systems hosted this way are often harder to scrape as they’re all structured differently. Additionally, you can (and should!) take additional measures to protect your data from your provider - something that just can’t be done when the provider controls the data architecture.

Right, the conversation was about emigrating to other countries. My understanding is that the job market in Finland is particularly tight, especially if you’re not already there.

Finland is tricky to get into though, if you don’t already have family or a similar connection. Haven’t looked at China, any idea what would be involved with emigrating there? I’m curious how much they’re paving the way for new talent to come in.

I don’t see Satan going on his belly, bruising our heels, or getting his head bruised! How did he escape a curse placed by God? Or is this just the snake’s origin story too? I’m not going to claim the serpent might not have been put up to it, but I don’t see Satan himself making an appearance here.
