Many cis women don’t want a possible ban of trans women from single-sex spaces, and fear wider consequences of judging on appearance

Solidarity with trans women

Many cis women are supportive of trans people and don’t want them to be excluded.

Not In Our Name is a cis female led trans-rights group. They describe themselves as a “collective of women who reject the weaponisation of our identities to justify discrimination. We want the media, government and other bodies to focus on the real threats that prevent women from thriving.”

Over 103,000 cis women have signed their petition that calls on “the media and politicians to recognise that there is a large number of women who are supportive of the trans+ community”___

    Do all

Who reads an opinion question that starts with "do all’ and expects a rational take?

      Who doesn’t read an article?

Supporting trans women is a rational take.

Not surprising givesomefucks would be against that.

        What?!

I’m saying “all” makes the entire statement worthless…

I have no idea who you are, but it seems you’re upset at me personally?

I get what you’re saying. The article is like ‘100k cis-women (out of ~35 mil) are against this. We’re not terf island anymore!’.

Exactly, I thought that was obvious…

Although I’m always quick to admit I have a problem over-estimating people.
