I’m not a political person but I’ve noticed that for example Reddit has a more left leaning moderation in comparison to what X (Twitter) is.

For example, if someone does hate speech against LGBT people on X and you report them the moderation team will tell you that the content didn’t break the rules and guidelines, but if you as an LGBT person answer to the homophobic conservatives with the same energy you’ll get a 24 hours suspension from posting or interacting.

I’ve personally experienced this many times and it’s making me so annoyed specially since there’s huge accounts on X that are dedicated to spread extreme hate even wishing death on other people.

It was bought by a Nazi who ran a chunk of the US government to personally enrich himself and who despises his own trans child. He runs the site as a way to control the narrative of the masses to support the ultra wealthy like himself.

    So, yes?

They’re not best friends anymore, but I really thought Musk would try to pretend to hide it a bit more…

It’s not conservative, it’s nazism. Compassion is banned, building a strong society? forget about it.

It’s mostly incoherent. Something that clearly break the rules will often stay up.

I mean. If you prefer could also try tossing some lame bipolar sexist comment here and there. But to be true, i’m not very good at them. 🤷‍♂️

This post follows the structure of a narrative-testing artifact, whether you meant it to or not:

    • Title poses the conclusion as a question (frame-as-premise)
    • “I’m not a political person” - credibility laundering
    • Unverifiable personal anecdote as evidence
    • LGBT hate as example - chosen because disagreement looks callous
    • Posted on a sympathetic platform for amplification and screenshot redistribution

The claim might be true. Platform moderation bias is a real research question. But this isn’t how you’d ask it if you wanted an answer - it’s how you’d ask it if you wanted the frame to spread. Worth everyone noticing the difference.

I just use this app to vent, even if the answer is obvious I just wanted a place to talk about it

    No.

I am on the Left, and if I am objective, a lot of very extreme lefty people seem to really like censorship when convinient. X does not censor the way they like, so clearly it is a National Socialist website now. You will notice they will claim anyone who does not think like them is a National Socialist or a Nationalist Socialist sympathizer. Disagreeing with people is not “hate” and people not agreeing with me or saying things I do not like is not hate. Free speech includes dissenting opinions and none of us should pretend to be the morality police since I too see calls of violence from the Left but for some reason that is fine when we do it. Do not like hypocrisy, does not matter what side it comes and all sides are guilty of it at some point. That just reality.

Elon, despite the silly claim that he is one, is not a National Socialist. National socialism is a full on political framework like socialism. Who here, aside a stupid hand gesture can point out the exact National Socialist policies that Elon follows? Endless ad hominems do not make a person a national socialist, at least not among adults and for the record, I do not like Elon.

But it makes sense why hate get brought up a lot since “hate speech” laws were introduced by Stalin.

Objectively speaking it is far more open today than it was before. If anyone actually bothered to read the Twitter files, which I assume most people here have not out of ideological bias they would see how much it censored as per the Biden admin requests.

If people do not like people’s opinions then do not follow them or look them up. This has worked for me for decades or just do not pay attention to them.

Elon: hails from the OG apartheid state, in his free time boosts racist stereotypes about black people, far right influencers and far right political movements, one of which is literally the remnants of the Nazi party and does the Nazi salute for the whole world to see. This guy: totes not a Nazi

Nobody refers to the political philosophy of national socialism when they call someone a Nazi.

When someone gets called a Nazi, it refers to nationalistic, racist and faschist ideals and/or behaviour. You know, the stuff that was actually portrayed by the Nazis, rather than a political philosophy they named themselves for.
