Is there a name for games where you shoot but don’t control the movement?
An example would be Call of Juarez

Its a rail shooter, games like House of the Dead, Time Crisis, or any other run-of-the-mill arcade shooter you’d find atChuck E Cheese. Fable also had a rail shooter, as well as Dead Space on the Wii.

The on-rails style reminds me of games like Time Crisis. Ah, the memories.
My favorite was Deadly Tide - not an arcade game but on oldschool windows PC, had like 8 discs or something.
