    I lived out in the Rockies. There was one Easter when we had a cold snap that hit -40.

    Fun fact here, the Celsius and Fahrenheit scales intersect at -40.

    Also, if you throw a mug of lukewarm water outside, it will be snow before it hits the ground.

      Not “up” as in “north.” “Up” as in away from the earth… z-axis… CLOSER TO SPACE THAN NORMALLY SURVIVABLE

        As a kid, my family visited some other family in Colorado Springs, and one night when we didn’t have anything to do, they took us to a gymnastics gym that had free play hours.

        I ran around for a few minutes before I started to get really winded. The staff picked up on it, and was like, "where are you from?” When I said Arkansas, they were all like “Oh, yeah, there isn’t enough air up here for you. Go sit down for a bit.”

        There ISN’T ENOUGH AIR UP THERE. SHIT IS HARDCORE.
