No worries, and take heart. There’s plenty of us here that are ready to “…hoist the black flag, and start slitting throats”, we’re just waiting for some of the others to catch up. If nothing else, Americans have traditionally been slow on the uptake, but quick to adapt once the last vestiges of comfort are perceived to be fleeting. At least that’s the hope I personally cling to.
It’s really too bad we live in a world where even quoting words from a 1930’s Boston satirist, to make a metaphorical and illustrative point, could be remotely construed as an act of violence.
