Company said US government believes safeguards can be bypassed and product used to identify software vulnerabilities
This feels like a really stupid move if they want to lock international users into US-based AI. This will just make more flock to alternatives that will catch up.
(This isn’t me being for AI but trying to understand this from the US perspective)
There’s a whole lot of stupid flowing out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue these days.
The majority of spend comes from the US already; it’s a pre-IPO marketing stunt to get even more enterprise customers. “Our model is sooo advanced, it’s illegal!”
