Brutal dictatorship? Cuba had 2 constitutional referendums in the last decade, that passed with overwhelming support. The Cuban government is more representitive of the people than America’s, evidenced by creating a healthcare system that favors people over profit, resulting in a longer life expectancy than in America, despite the blockade.

And yet the guy in charge of all of Cuba worked for the Castro family for decades AND LITERALLY HELD A RALLY CELEBRATING THEM after the US indictment of Raul Castro?

Next you’ll tall me Fidel was the most democratic leader of all time, right up there with the Jong-Un family?

Before Fidel, most Cubans were basically slaves or prostitutes, Fidel led the revolution, are you surprised a people who went from an unpaid plantation worker seeing their children die of preventable disease to a society where everyone gets good healthcare support the Castros?

If they were total dictatorship, they wouldn’t need constitutional referendums.
