5·13 days agoIts not legacy that is the problem. They went with web based tech for some parts of their os.
I must admit I do not know Bernie’s policies in great detail. What I wanted to say that is that countries with national healthcare, free schooling, paid maternity, sick time, vacation days and such being the law I would refer to being left of Bernie because the status quo in USA is so much to the right.
Even in countries where all of this is provided by the state, being able to afford roof over your head is still a big challenge.
Adult sons living at home is common in European countries where status quo is to the left of your Bernie. So it must be something else. I blame NIMBYs.

At that point they would have to compete with eachother on efficiency and punctuality, nightmare for national monopolists. Our national rail company is a dumping ground for C tier politicians after they’ve run their course.

4·25 days agoI’m posting this reply from FP6 /e/OS. I have no complaints. I think experience can vary depending on the apps ecosystem that one is part of.


Re Guix. It usually boots just fine on standard hardware. Its just the wifi drivers that are widely unsupported. But all of that is solved with like 5 lines of config in a standard place.
