Without any clear definition of a god not sure this distinction means anything.
The point is about how the receiving greeks would have interpreted this new religion and that would be based more on their Greek mythology than it would on Hebrew mythology.
A greek style demi god is when a god causes a human woman to give birth. Is that not the case here?
